A New Team
As the world continues to transform, we here at Legacy Hotels and Resorts have continued to adapt to the new norms. We are proud to announce that our Group Financial Director, Neil Yates has been promoted to Managing Director, while Robert Hodson, our Divisional Operations Manager and Group Marketing Manager is our new Chief Operating Officer.
These are just some of the key personnel changes that Legacy Hotels & Resorts' CEO Bart Dorrestein has implemented. This is to meet the current challenges faced by our company due to Covid-19, while at the same time future-casting to our needs as a pan-African hospitality group, as we move into 2021 and beyond.
Dorrestein states, "I believe that with this team at the helm of the business, we can both draw on their experience and expertise, while at the same time, keep consistency in the way we run our business, while our industry and the world is anything but that at the moment.”
In addition to Yates and Hodson, Dorrestein has announced supplementary appointments for Glenn Stutchbury who has been promoted from Divisional Operations Manager to Operations Director for Legacy’s Cape Town and Sandton properties, and Gert Brumme from Divisional Operations Manager to Operations Director for Timeshare, Lodges and The Centurion Hotel. Furthermore, Thomas Klinger has been appointed as a Director and continues to fulfil the role of Group Financial Manager, while Hara Jackson moves from Group Sales Manager to Sales Director: Local and International.
